![]() Why own RV Land? We got to put the sold sign on the property A flat area in about the center of the five acres is where we will install the pad and hookups for the RV. Loblolly pines are the predominant tree, with a nice assortment of hardwoods on the sides and back. At the back a series of ridges staircases to the west. It fronts the road and is bordered on both sides by a series of small ravines. We asked and got permission to spend the night on it in our RV. But it was the five-acre parcel marked as site 25 that stood out the most. We liked all of the four properties we looked at. They have some larger parcels available as well. The Woodlands at Buffalo River is selling parcels from five acres up to 30 acres, at prices starting around $69,900, depending on location and the topographical features. In all, we spent three days on-site, walking all over each parcel. One trip was to a place called the Landings, located right on the banks of Kentucky Lake (the Tennessee River). All this year, we have been reporting on the growing trend among many RVers to own their own RV camping spots,Īs such, we’ve made two previous trips to the area, located about 20 miles south and a bit west of I-40, an hour and a half west of Nashville.
